Road Trip

Averie was so excited to finally be out of the car!

We had a really great weekend!! The team had a two day road trip up to the Tampa area, so Averie and I decided to catch a ride with a couple of girls and hit the road! We left Saturday after the game here in Jupiter and headed North to Clearwater, FL!! The drive was about 3.5 hours-just on the verge of being "too long"! Averie was a trooper, watched Dora the Explorer the entire time while munching on goldfish, MnMs, and cinnamon life cereal :) We made it to the Renaissance Hotel at about 730pm, waited for the team buses to arrive and then headed to Cheesecake Factory for dinner----oh yeah, after we waited an hour and a half for a table!!! (it was not even that good)! The next AM, Brian left early so Ava and I went downstairs, ate Breakfast and laid/played at the pool for a bit then headed to the Mall that was attached to the hotel to pick up a much needed necessity--A girlfriend of one of Brian's teammates always dresses so cute and her tata's always look sooooo good (on the verge of looking fake they are that perfect)...well I found out her secret so I had to run to Nordstrom to get it! (ladies, if you want to know, email me privately)!!!
We got what we needed and headed to the game vs. Phillies! It was HOT and CROWDED! We ended up losing in the 9th but Brian didn't play anyways, so it was nothing personal!!! After the game, Brian and I took Ava to the mall so she could play in the kids play area for a bit! She had fun and so did I--I found myself back at Nordstroms! I needed some jeans this trip and once again it was a success!

It was Sunday, so the mall closed early and we found ourselves looking for something to eat for dinner. I wanted Mexican and since there were no Mexi restaurants around we headed back to Cheesecake to get the tacos they have on the menu! We walked in and someone from Brian's team was already waiting for a table with his family. Their name got called, they went and sat down and shortly after, came back inside to see if we wanted to join them! We ended up having a very nice Dinner with the pujols'
Monday Morning, Brian left about 9 and Ava and I got ready and went to starbucks and then back to play at the mall (burn some energy before sitting at a game and heading back to Jupiter)!
We checked out at 12 & headed to Lakeland, FL- home of the Tigers! We had great seats in the shade and enjoyed another ST game! I also got to see Sarah Lyon, a friend I had met while we were with the D-backs! Sarah's hubby Brandon now plays for Detroit!

After the game, we headed back and met the team at the ball park-Brian, Ava and I went to eat at Hurricane Cafe (yummy) and then went home to unpack, unwind & rest up for our off day today!!
