So, Averie turned 4 a few weeks ago. How come nobody told me that once they hit this age, they are all grown up? She is such the little lady and she makes me the proudest mama in the whole wide world!! So, since she is all grown up now, she loves to spend her own money, do her makeup and most recently eat greek salad for lunch! Yes, that's what I said...greek salad for lunch! Our March is going good, we had some family in town visiting, so that kept us busy and now we have friends and more family coming this week! woo hoo! Brian had a cortisone shot last week, so he missed a week of play, but came back strong in a "b" game today with a home run, single and a walk!! He looks sooooo handsome in Ranger Blue! I do have to say that they are the prettiest uniforms i have seen on a baseball diamond! Jagger is doing good...must be growing EVERY day! He is so active and always kicking me in the same place!! I love every second of it!! My fave part is when Ava comes up and kisses him out of the blue! She is going to be such a sweet sister and so much help to me!! and I think I saw tom cruise pulling out of Luke Air Force Base on his motor cycle today. Have a fabulous week everyone! xo

wow, we get 1 off day and its going to be a wet 1.

We planned a beach day today, but instead woke up to dark, cloudy skies.....and then this afternoon the rain started and isn't supposed to stop til tomorrow night....ahh the luck!
I guess we will spend our day in the mall instead of the sand :)
Florida weather is so crazy and unpredictable.....this is by far the coolest (and by that i mean cold, not "cool") ST we have ever had.
Brian is doing good, he actually started a game in LF today- unfortunately it was windy and the wind was blowing straight towards him...so he saw A LOT more action than he wanted.. LOL- but he also showed some more versatility, so that is good!!

Well, besides being the cruddiest game of the spring...{for Brian} it was a good day and here are some pictures to prove it!

Hi. Hope your week is going splendid- as is mine! Happy St Patty's to all my fellow irish guys & gals :) Tonite was bible study and it was fabuous as always. We have a wonderful leader- Wendy Lane! Her hubby is the Marlin's chapel leader, so its natural that she would be ours! We all meet at someone's house and everyone brings a yummy treat to share...tonite I chose to bring fruit salsa...a recipe I originally had at a Cardinal bible study last year...made by Jenny Wainwright.

Fruit Salsa-

2 golden delicious apples- peeled, cored diced into a small dice
8 oz strawberries- diced
8 oz raspberries- diced
2 kiwi- diced
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp br sugar
3 tbsp preserves

Stir together everything and let "marinate and mingle" for a few hours before serving with cinnamon|sugar pita chips~

Lets just say it was a "hit"!

Rain Rain GO Away...

What the heck, 2 inches of rain today? Now, c'mon, that realllllllllly puts a damper (pun intended) on my beach plans for today! We had a fun night out last nite, I will post some pics when I upload them today!!
Averie is still asleep @ 1041 am.....ahhh, how I LOVE my daughter!!! We were originally planning on going on the overnite trip with Brian, but seems to be a popular place as the hotel was sold out so they have to share rooms....I mean, i told brian that i was positive his roommate (whomever it may be) wouldn't mind having Ava & I in the room too, but he just didn't buy it...LOL! So, now with all the rain in the entire state of Florida, he will prob have 2 rainouts (on the road of course) while Ava and I figure out what we can do INSIDE here in Jupiter! The luck, The luck.....Wish you all a very happy Friday!!!

a quick trip to Kissimmee-

Ava and I took a road trip today :) We headed N on the Florida Turnpike and drove for exactly 2 hours to watch our #1 guy play some baseball!!
We ended up whooping some {Astros} 16-4 or something like that....

Hello :)

Hi!! How is everyone?? We are doing fabulous!! Brian and Ava are napping side by side on the bed while I finally figure out how to set up my blog!!! Yay! So, lets see...what is new with us??? Well, Today was our 2nd off day of spring training so we had a nice, relaxing day at the pool! Brian's ST is going good so far- not getting to play as much as he would like, but the times he does get in the games, he has been doing great!!! Ava and I are keeping ourselves busy with swim lessons, Gymboree, going to the beach, and meeting new friends!
Well, I dont know much else to say---pretty uneventful around here lately!!!
