It all started out with a Great Mother's Day! Ava and I went to church and Sunday School and she had a great time...i have to admit part of the reason I made sure Averie went to Sunday School was because I knew the class would be making "mothers day crafts" and there is nothing I love more than a homemade craft! My fridge is covered with her artwork and i just love it!
So, of course my gift from Averie was a homemade rose and also a beautiful picture she colored for the fridge- my gift from Brian was something I have been asking for, for awhile- Reebok Easytones!
They hurt my feet the first few times I wore them, but now I am starting to feel the "constant clinch" in my cheeks when I wear them walking! (the clinch is a great feeling and I will keep ya posted on the results)!
Monday was "dare day" at the park,so with an early game we decided to go eat at a place called Pappasitos for dinner and it was devine! Brian had been sick for a few days, so he just had the chicken and rice soup....and oh my gosh, can I say it was hands down, the best soup I had ever had! I ordered the chicken fajitas (off of a recommendation from my friend Amanda) and they were the BEST ones I have ever had. They make homemade flour tortillas right there and the fajitas come with this yummy, warm, frothy garlic butter....Heaven on a plate! {thank goodness for my easytones}
Tuesday I had a doc appt and all is well! I have gained 1 lb since last appt 2 weeks ago, BP was good, Jagger's heart rate was great and everything seems to be right on track!
Wednesday we went shopping and had lunch with some friends...all in all a good day- Thursday I got my hair cut n colored while Ava was at school and oh yeah we finally got some RAIN!! It felt great! So crazy to see the flooding everywhere else, while we are in a Long drought. Today, Ava and I explored downtown Round Rock, ate a great little place called Juniors and also stopped at Round Rock Donuts to try one of their famous "as seen on Man vs. Food" donuts! Ava got a chocolate frosted one and I do have to admit it was Fabulous! I dont know what they do, but this donut had some flavor!!
We came home and played on the trampoline, ate dinner and took Chica on a long walk thru the neighborhood....we are trying to take all this gorgeous weather in before it gets HOT again!!
So, we had a great week and can't wait to meet up with our other 1/3rd tomorrow in Vegas!!
xoxo
All in all it's been a great week
So happy that you guys are doing great! By the way, you are the cutest pregnant lady, ever!
