Bye Bye Brian!

Brian signed a contract with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp of the Japanese Baseball League last week and he left on Saturday to join the team! We miss him sooo much, but were really blessed to have him home with us for 3 weeks before he left! He got to bond with Jagger and spend some QT with us, which was soooo fabulous!! The regular baseball season over there goes til mid October and if they make the play offs (we are hoping Brian can help them there) it extends longer! The kids and I can't go until Jagger has his 8 week vaccines, so if all goes well, we will head across the Pacific mid september!
So far Brian seems to like it...our apt is very nice and large (according to Japanese standards) and he said there is a good pizza joint across the street! lol! The fans are awesome already- (if you are on twitter, follow Brian- @thegreatbardini is his handle!) He has quadrupled the # of followers he has and he hasn't even played a game yet!
He is scheduled to play some minor league games to get some at bats and then join the regular team on August 1st!!
