Spoiled by Cathy| my recent road trip with Brian & the Marlins.

Wow....SPOILED! That is the first word that comes to mind as I sit and reminisce about the trip I just took, and NO I am not talking about me (altho I am pretty spoiled most of the time) I am talking about Brian and the rest of the Marlins, MLB, and pretty much all professional athletes I am sure....
Ok, so they work hard, put in LONG hours and basically wear down their temples bodies on a daily basis, but let me tell ya; I would work twice as long, do twice as many squats, and take a million ground balls if I were allowed to fly NON coach, NON regular airport, and NON security lines.
Since Averie is on her "summer break" out West in Oregon for a few weeks, I got the opportunity to travel with Brian on a 10 day road trip to NY, Philly and Tampa Bay! You see, the Marlins have a rule that wives can travel on any and as many road trips they want, but children aren't allowed (they must not know that Averie is an angel on the plane) so, since I was now "kid less" this was my chance to go!!! To tell ya the truth, I didn't really care about going back to New York, eating cheese steaks in Philly or seeing Evan Longoria's butt swing in person, all I wanted to experience was the luxury named "Cathy"!
"Cathy" is a 747 airplane and she is also my new best friend whom i doubt I will get to visit with again for a long time {unless nana wants to come to FL and stay with Averie again ;)) We drive right up to her door and she patiently waits while we go thru "security," walk up the steps and take our seats...she is so sweet, doesn't even make us put up our tray tables or seat backs while she is speeding down the runway about to take off! As I recall, Brian was still chatting away on his phone as we cleared 100, 200 ft into the sky!!! She is basically like an all 1st class jet stocked to the brims with yumminess!!!
She has nice people who walk up and down the aisles with baskets of candy, gum and sweets, trays of warm, gourmet cookies and ice cold milk!! The  dinners are great too- we get to choose from the likes of filet mignon, chicken pomodoro or fresh caprese salad...oh my! When the dream flight is coming to an end, we land smoothly and exit out, only to get onto a waiting bus that whisks us to our destination...Will someone wake me please.....
